Most gas stoves sold these days are the sealed burner version... drip
pans and burner grates clean up in the dishwasher if you like or can
easily be handwashed with dishwashing liquid and the cooktop has no
crevices, cleans as easily as a glass window... I clean mine with
windex. I wouldn't consider any cooktop but gas, nothing else is
cooking.
