You need to find some good butter as good butter most certainly gives a
lot of flavor. As someone noted a while back (probably Sheldon), most
butter in the US has really gone downhill and while they may still call
it grade A/AA, it is nearly flavorless. The imported "European" butters
are vastly better than the current US stuff, and tastes like you
remember butter used to taste like.
