It's a big state. ;-) I live in South-Central in the hill country.

Late Fall.

We had one minor cold front a couple of days ago, and it's back up into
the hot, sticky 90's. I have no AC in my truck.

What would you like in trade? <G>

I can actually drive to Bastrop tho' (about a 1 hour drive) for pine
needles and pine cones. I have to drive a lot further for fall colors
except for the local white oaks.

You know you live in Texas when you measure traveling by time instead of
miles. ;-)
