Thanks for the 'spur' of the moment with on-hand ingredients cooking. This
seems to make up a lot of my cooking, taking what's on hand and trying to
make as delicious as possible. I admire your serving dishes; they always
help dress up a meal/dish.
Today about 2:45 we both got the hungries, so I took some left-over
in-the-refrigerator cucumbers and onions w/lemon that we had eaten all of
the tomatoes out of , so I added a fresh tomato, a small zucchini and 1/2 of
a green pepper. We opened a new package of peccorino romano, put a couple
of frozen french rolls in the panini grill to toast them well, an apple and
a small glass of red wine.
Come dinner time, we were still not hungry enough to prepare dinner. So it
was a free evening to enjoy otherwise.
Thanks for your pictures. I really enjoy them.
