The shrimp was a huge success. I didn't add the chili's because my
friend can't do spicy.
The next time I make this I'll add a bit more ginger and of course the
chili's and I'll cut the green onions into slivers.
I assembled the ingredients for the shrimp. The scallions, butter,
garlic, salt, ginger, coconut and cognac.

I was so busy talking and visiting I didn't get a photo of the shrimp
ingredients in the pan but I did get a photo of the finished product.

I made the rice earlier. Since I wasn't distracted I got more photos.
I used brown basmati rice cooked in chicken broth with a bay leaf. The
rice recipe I decided to make was partly taken off the bag of rice and
I added the tomatoes Guisi suggested.
The rice ingredients were, onion, celery, dried tropical fruit mix
which consisted of pineapple, papaya and mango. I also added ginger
and at the end the tomatoes and a splash of soy sauce.
Rice ingredients.

I sautéd the onion and celery, then I added the fruit and ginger.

The sautéd veggies were added to the already cooked rice along with
the tomatoes and soy sauce.
