I meant file names with slashes, dashes, question marks, quotation
marks, brackets, etc.

But you knew that. :-)

Seriously, it'd give me errors when I tried to store text or image files
with symbols. I had to remove them.

Took me hours to search out all that stuff when trying to do batch
backups.
